I was so excited that yesterday warmed up enough to go outside and practice some of the things I've been learning with the camera. Since my son was in trouble, and had to stay home for the evening, he was the one who got to come out with me :) I only got a few shots in since the other kids were inside, but I thought I'd share them with you, because I love them! I had fun post-processing them too, although the color may be off a little. Davis thought it would be a good idea to mess around with my monitor, and well, I'm not smart enough to get it back to normal.

Hey! I am just seeing your blog for the first time! I think you are really coming along way in a short amount of time. That first picture is great and exposure and focus are right on!
I know it seems like there is SO MUCH to learn...like you will never catch up, but you will, if it's what you want to do! You'll start getting the hang of certain things and want to move on...and soon you'll say "this has been hard to learn, but I've gotten so much better". It's a good feeling!

Aah, thanks you guys! I am really looking forward to getting out more as the weather warms to practice what I've been learning. I feel like it starting to click (well, maybe just a little;).

Those are great shots! He's grown so much--wow! :) And nothin' like an afternoon in to have some time with mom, right? :)
