Sister

I went to lunch with my sister the other day (Red Iguana=good), and we had a little fun afterwards with the camera (blue walls=neat-o). These are really not great. It was the middle of the day and I got a lot of blowouts. There are so many things I learned NOT to do when taking pictures, but I thought I'd share just a couple that I liked anyway.

One More

As I went through the baby pics, I found another that I like. I don't really like how yellow my lighting was in the baby pictures (natural light), so I played with the color on this one a bit. I'm still not sure about it, but thought I would put it up here anyway.

Oh Baby!!

My sister and her husband came over this weekend and let me practice taking pictures on her new little angel. Boy, was I in heaven...he is such a beautiful little guy. It's amazing to watch my sister take these next steps into motherhood. I've only had time to look at a few of the pictures so far, but I thought I'd share them with you.

Old Friends

I went out to lunch this weekend with an old friend. It's always fun to get together with old friends and reminisce and catch up on life. She was so sweet to let me practice with an unfamiliar lense, and although we didn't get to take many pics, she was a great sport. And aren't these the coolest shoes you've ever seen? Thanks Tracy!

Getting the hang of it...

Okay, I had enough of a pity party the other day and I'm determined to be more positive. I wanted to share some pictures that I've taken that I really like. I don't know if they are technically any good, but I love them because they are of my beautiful kids. And I will even post one of my darling husband, who is so patient with me. I have been learning A LOT from the wonderful givers at the board I frequent, and hope that someday I'll understand enough to give back...until then I am greedily eating up all the information I can.
