I love this boy!

I'm feeling kind of down. I know that since I've never done photography before, that I'd have a lot to learn, but I feel like there is still so much to learn, that I'll never catch up. And if I do ever catch up, will it have been worth my time? Will I be any good? It seems like I see some images from "beginners" that are so stunning, it makes me feel like I don't or won't have anything unique to offer...but I'll keep plugging along. Goodness...I've only been practing for a couple of weeks on an SLR...I'm bound to figure something out!

Regardless, I wanted to share some of my little man. I think he is just beautiful ;)

I feel like I'm learning more and more everyday, and that I still have so much more to learn. Here are a few recent ones.

And apparently I should have put a frame around each of these. The one of the blown out background looks a little funny! But, isn't she so cute??? That's my sister and she is due in a few days. I can't wait for her to be a mommy (and to get my hands on a newborn baby--it seems mine has grown far too quickly!).

Happy New Year

My computer crashed!! Luckily the hard drive was not destroyed, but all of my practice pictures are on the old hard drive which I've not yet hooked up to the new computer, so here are a few pictures I had emailed my brother.

As I reflect on my goals for the new year, I realize there is so much I want to do. I honestly don't feel like I have the time to accomplish all I would like to. My priority is to get organized!! In addition there are so many other responsibilities, and I'm realizing how little valuable time I take for myself...I hope this coming year I can use my time more wisely.
